The IEC 60270 standard defines partial discharges as "local electrical discharges that only partially exceed the insulation between conductors".Partial discharges are difficult to detect in the field and can be extremely destructive if not detected.

 

The company has the most recent tools for the research of partial discharges on medium and high voltage assets by ultrasonic measurement. Measurement a is based on the emission of sound waves by the partial discharge.The frequency bandwidth of the emissions tends to concentrate around 40 kHz but extends to the audible frequencies in the event of extremely pronounced discharges.This analysis is carried out during normal operation of the plant, without the need for safety measures or plant shutdowns.

 

 

• Periodic tests for checking and diagnostics on metal oxide on surge arresters.

• The checks are carried out according to the IEC 60099-5 standard.

• Analysis of the third harmonic current with compensation.

 

 

The company has all the necessary equipment for:

• SF6 gas recovery on existing switchboards

• Filling with SF6 gas on SWB's

• Search for leaks SF6

All our technicians have specific European certification in the FGAS register to operate on components with Sulfur Hexafluoride (SF6)
